Plana is a Social Enterprise that revolutionizes plastic recycling. Our solution is to convert plastic waste and husk waste to become a new material called PlanaWood, made from 60% rice husk and 30% plastic waste, which can be used as building materials (Floor, Wall, Ceiling) and Furniture Products (Table, Chair) that last for decades as a substitution for natural wood. Our process technology is purposed to make waste into something much more valuable product and extend its usage time & durability and become a substitute for Natural Wood such as Iron Wood. By using this technology, we also save the forests, while increasing farmers’ and scavengers’ welfare by buying husks and plastic waste and up-cycling those materials.
Currently no other companies made Husk Recycled Plastic Composite Decking, But we usually compete with Natural Wood, Wood Plastic Composite, Concrete Wood, etc in Project Tenders.
