A network promoting STEM education for girls and women in Asia-Pacific

STEAM Platform team have been invited to participate in the "A network promoting STEM education for girls and women in Asia-Pacific" organised by UNESCO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education During Nov 21st - 22nd, Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, Bangkok

Agenda

Day 1 of the meeting will consist mainly of presentations from the researchers participating in our STEM Education for Girls/Women research project. We have 11 researchers from Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, India, Philippines, and Malaysia that will have an opportunity to share their research and innovative projects/practices regarding girls/women in STEM education in the Asia-Pacific region.

Day 2 of the meeting will consist mainly of group discussions, brainstorming, and consultation among the various participants to identify priorities, challenges, and ways to continue our efforts to work together in the future to promote STEM education for girls and women. Participants will include approximately 25 individuals coming from private organizations, NGOs, technology companies, and development partners.
