Mr Arslan SIDDIQUE

Mr. Arslan Siddique is a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering as well as a Casual Academic at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, Australia. He is also a Guest Researcher at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization (ANSTO) Sydney, and a Postgraduate Research Awardee (PGRA) at the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering (AINSE). Prior to joining UNSW, he was the project manager and technology analyst at the STEAM platform of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). His research work is spanned across multiple disciplines including nuclear science, chemical engineering, biotechnology, nanotechnology, materials science, and biochemistry etc. He strongly advocates deep tech. start-ups enabling circular economy transformation coupled with emerging digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics. He has won several international governments funded scholarships, fellowships, awards and grants throughout his academic & research career, and spoke at numerous international conferences. He also authored a chapter titled “Youth Leadership in a circular economy: education enabled by STEAM platform”, published by Springer Nature. He is an inspiring youth leader training global youth on technology analysis, value-chain mapping, entrepreneurship, market research, and strategic communication. He is a big fan of sports and plays Cricket in his spare time.
