Assoc. Prof Charoenchai KHOMPATRAPORN

Charoenchai Khompatraporn is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Production Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, and the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs of the Graduate School of Management and Innovation, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Bangkok, Thailand. His research interests include supply chain and logistics management, applied operations research, as well as circular economy and industrial sustainable operations.

He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Washington. He has worked with public and private sectors such as automotive part manufacturer, a large steel producer, retail banks, agrobusinesses, Thai Red Cross, and public hospitals on various logistics, operations, optimization, and sustainable issues.
