Dr. Manish Sinha

Manish leads Venture Building at Nanyang Technology University with a focus on deep tech ideas across Engineering, Science and Medicine. He brings ~25 years of eclectic global experience in growth investing and value creation. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, strategy, and business model design. His keen understanding on the drivers of business performance is fortified by a sound investing experience in public and private companies across both developed and emerging markets. Manish has worked with institutional investors including Oaktree Capital, Citi, Litespeed Management, and Ivaldi Capital and co-founded Amoeba Capital Partners. Manish has advised both traditional and new economy corporates across geographies and sectors as a management consultant with McKinsey. He holds a high regard for entrepreneurs given his own trials and tribulations with a startup in gamified marketing.

Manish earned his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, USA and a B.E (Hons) from BITS Pilani, India. He is a CFA charter holder.
