Biography
Ngoc-Mai Trinh is a Programme Manager at the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Vietnam, specialising in sustainable business development and climate change adaptation. She holds a Master’s degree in Management of Non-profit Organisations and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Economics. With extensive experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors in Germany and Vietnam, she manages various initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable business models and innovations among start-up communities in ASEAN countries, with the ultimate goal of accelerating the region's circular transition. Her key projects include: Ecothon – an annual competition focused on sustainable business models in selected ASEAN countries; and ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam (part of the global ClimateLaunchpad initiative) – an annual competition for cleantech start-ups in Vietnam.
