Newsletter April-May 2021: What Drives the Transformation of a Circular Economy?

Updated: May 16, 2021

Spring/Autumn Greetings!

Even though we are still in the waves of the pandemic, circular economy leadership practices continue. We launched the 1st hybrid event (physical and virtual) Circular Economy Leadership & Partnership (CELP) Summit 2021 during Mar. 17-18th in Bangkok. CELP 2021 showcased the 1st time Thailand circularity leadership capabilities and practices on a global stage. It also showcased leaderships from governments (including European Commission, Asia, and Europe), the World Bank & Asia Development Bank, private sectors, academics, and investors.

In this issue, we shall share the highlights of the event where we address some of the critical drivers (including policy & regulations, ecosystem platforms, business & technology innovations, and financing) for accelerating the circular economy transformation in Asia and the world.

We will launch two new websites under the STEAM Platform in early June. One focuses on Emerging Technologies & Innovations (www.nano-globe.biz) and the other on Circular Economy Accelerator (www.CELPsummit.org). Stay tuned, and we look forward to collaborating with you!
