Finally, after 2 years of lockdown, KX resumes large-scale face-to-face events. KX launched the DEMO DAY for Techbite 4.0 on 19 August, 2022.
Despite of the lockdown during the covid-19 pandemic, the COO of KX, Dr Piengpen Wongnapapan, initiated the Techbite accelerator program to support innovators and entrepreneurs from Thailand and beyond with the needed guidance and funding to conduct proof-of-concept. But more importantly, help build a community and ecosystem for entrepreneurs on-site and online. Within 2 years, Techbite grew from zero to accelerating over 35 start-ups attracting hundreds of applications from all around the world. This is a big deal for an accelerator in Thailand with little funding and mostly in-kind support and service contracts. Techbite program accelerates innovative ideas with good potential to create impact. STEAM Platform provides training and mentorship to Techbite staff. Miss Jariyaporn Charkhonmattakul, former STEAM Platform manager, is currently the program manager of Techbite. Dr. Lerwen LIU, our founding director, personally mentors entrepreneurs working in the environment and green economy.
STEAM Platform is a partner for Techbite accelerator and focuses on accelerating the circular economy projects through mentoring and supporting start-ups and innovators working in the areas o Bio-circular-green (BCG) economy.
We provided a strategic partnership for Techbite 4.0 DEMO Day and invited our partners from all over the world to join the onsite and online event. Lerwen LIU dedicated her time to mentoring start-ups in the areas of BCG through connecting to strategic partners & investors, business model design, identifying value chain/supply chain, conducting a comparative analysis, assessing sustainability impact, and international business development.
